Lykowski Construction, Inc. was organized in 1974. However, in 1969 fresh out of school, Timothy Lykowski became fascinated in the movement of homes. In January of 1972, Tim moved his first structure under Lykowski Construction. In 1974, Lykowski Construction incorporated and has been conducting building moving, raising, and shoring under that name.

Lykowski Construction, Inc. has had tremendous growth since 1972. The geographical location has contributed in the opportunity to work in the neighboring states of Michigan and Illinois. Lykowski construction follows all regulatory statutes enabling them to conduct business in all three states.

Timothy Lykowski has supervised every moving project the company has performed with the help of two key employees that have the same interest. Throughout the years in business, Tim has been able to further his education in the fields of structural engineering and hydraulic engineering which has prepared Lykowski Construction, Inc. to develop their own state of the art equipment used in the trade. Lykowski Manufacturing, Inc. exclusively builds moving dollies.

Lykowski Construction conducts business at a 12,000 sq. ft. facility that was moved to the 2 acre parcel on Ireland Road located in South Bend, Indiana. This location warehouses the equipment needed for the process of building moving, raising, and shoring.
